Before registration for the PMP® exam, you must satisfy that you have the following verifiable requirements for PMP® certification:
With a Bachelor’s degree (or higher, alternative similar international degree):
- At the minimum, 36 months of project experience
- 35 contact hours of project management preparation/training
– OR –
Without degree:
- At a minimum, 60 months of project experience
- 35 contact hours of project management preparation/training
The participation in a project management training course is one of the basic requirements to obtain the PMP® project management certification from PMI®. With the IfP preparation training you will be safely and well trained to take the exam.
What do we mean by contact hours (“Contact Hours”)?
Before you can register for the PMP® certification exam, it is generally obligatory to provide evidence of at a minimum of 35 contact hours of further project management training. Each PMP® course at the IfP Institute for Project Management is following the specifications of the PMI® and thus offers at least the required amount of 35 contact hours.
